If you plan on dying for a big play it should be close to the end of the game and you need it to secure a win. If you have a 700G+ shutdown you need to protect it. I have played a lot of games where dying was completely unnecessary, and I've died 0 times. If you don't need to die then its best to not die just for using passive. Sion's passive is extremely hard to master in a sense that you need to know how long to stay alive for, when the right time is to die, and the mechanics of pilotting your passive for the few seconds you're still alive. BEFORE YOU GO INTO RANKED AND START INTING- play a couple normal games and practice inting FIRST. Your passive is one of the strongest parts of your kit. As well as more or less effective in different ranks. Lethality, and Tank are both viable options for Sion, and each build/playstyle is more effective than the other against certain champions, and team compositions.

This Guide will always be kept up-to-date to the best of my abilities. The goal for this guide is to help myself reflect on what I have learned and discover what more I need to learn moving forward, while at the same time extending my knowledge to those who seek to truly master the ungodly beast that is Sion. Being able to break apart their gameplay and apply it to my own was definitely the hardest part about learning and climbing, as everything is not as straight forward as it would seem.
I have over 3000 games on Sion and I've learned a lot off of LCS/LEC top laners that have played Sion in pro play, along with watching many OG Sion players, and constantly watching VODs over the Top Sion players from many different regions. My current Season12 peak sits at Masters 236lp, and I'm always aiming to improve. Season 8 and 9 I didn't play because of college, and Season 10 I returned and ended D2. Season 7 was the first time I took ranked seriously, and I reached D5 as a Gangplank OTP. I have been playing League casually since Season 1. A new piece of DLC, titled "No Step Back," is expected to be released later this summer.Hello fellow (and future) Sion enjoyers! My name is Boptimus. Motorization levels can also be improved to make supply delivery more efficient. A handy new map mode will be released that promises to make it easier for players to see where the supplies from their hubs are going. More specifically, the effort is now being made to allow supply to be less cumbersome. Lately, the devs have been focusing on the subject of supply. Even though they are now in the midst of their summer break, there's always still plenty to discuss when it comes to upcoming features.
